Fellow Alumni Leaders,
The past week has been hectic! Our temperatures moved from Summer in November to a deep Winter freeze pre-December, and the dreaded thirties! We had our General Meeting and Mega Drawing 2023 was discussed at length. We also talked about our school in Hanover – Industry Cove Basic School (ICBS) and the big plans our MPR team has to promote UJAA…. among other things. MLK Day plans are in the works too!
This week I have three requests for you.

- We would like your support for our 20 for 20 Drive to buy Friday uniforms for the ICBS kids. Please donate $20 towards this worthy cause. I can give a running countdown as we strive to get there by end of this month. We have four so far. Please send your donation via Zelle using UJAAnewseditor@gmail.com.
- If you wish to purchase Christmas Care packages please let me know how many so that we can arrange with the Lasco Chin Foundation. they are $30 each and $35 if you want to add a Christmas cake.
