Dear UJAA Family,
As we continue our quest in life, we must first give God thanks for the blessing of another week and then collect ourselves as we plot the path towards actualizing our goals. Recent experiences have shown us that nothing is guaranteed to us and as such we must be constantly focused on the present, knowing full well that things can change at a moment’s notice, and we can do very little to counteract whatever that change might bring.
Our organization has provided us with not only the collaborative support to do real things for our students at home and abroad, under the harshest of circumstances but has also helped us to maintain a peace of mind knowing that we are all in this together and together we can do it, whatever it is. As we journey on together, let’s maintain the charity, the ties that bind, the esprit de corps, because we all need each other. United we will stand, and stand we must, as a union for good.
On a personal note, I learned a long time ago at my high school that prayer and work conquer all. This is so fitting for UJAA and this is my continued wish for all of us – to continue to pray and back it up with work – and we will achieve all that we set out to do.
