Good morning all!
Last week we received the wonderful news about the Jamaica Robotics team receiving a silver medal in Geneva and UJAA receiving a bronze medal for outstanding support of our team. If you have not done so already, please visit our Facebook page (https://www,facebook.com/ujaausainc) and read all about it. Remember to LIKE, COMMENT and SHARE once you do! We were ably represented by Immediate Past President Lesleyann Samuel, Corresponding Secretary Karlene Largie, Director Dwight Clarke and Immaculate President Karen Wilson-Robinson, who was gracious enough to agree to be the chaperone for the team. Separately, our Assistant Treasurer Ansell Williams was selected as a judge and also made the trip. Thank you all!
The expenses related to this trip were handled by UJAA, and the members who traveled contributed to their own expenses. Team Jamaica Robotics is extremely grateful to UJAA for supporting them as without our support the trip may not have been possible. When I say “our support” I must note proudly that all the schools with students on the team stepped up to contribute traveling money for their students. Way to go UJAA members!
On another note, it would be great if other members of the board share the weekly messages, and you will notice that this begins to be the case over the next few weeks.
Have a blessed and safe week, all.
