Wilbert Davis was elected to the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (USA) Inc. Board of Directors as a Director in 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Director from 2022 to 2023, and as UJAA’s Assistant Treasurer from 2015 to 2022. An alumnus of St. Catherine High School, he is currently the acting Vice President of the New York Chapter of his alumni association. Wilbert holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Honors) from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York.
Prior to migrating to the USA, Wilbert was a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force for over nine years where he completed his probationary period at the Mobile Reserve, Harman Barracks. Most of his service was at the Jamaica Police Academy where he was a classroom instructor in laws and police duties and where he lectured on West Indian History, the Jamaica Constitution, and the Rights of a Citizen. He has been employed as Coordinator, Corporate Paralegals at a major New York City law firm for the past 24 years.
